BiQ: Quick Note About Today's Market Selloff 10/10/25

I've had several members send me questions today about whether today was a good day to buy, of if the market could fall further tomorrow. The short answer is, I don't know.

The somewhat longer answer is that my investing methodology is not, has never been, and will never be about trying to time the market, or look for market bottoms or tops. Sometimes, often times, I get lucky with timing, but sometimes I don't. However, as long as I understand the thesis and valuation, it doesn't matter that much in the end given that my perspective is always long-term. I don't care very much about what the market does from day-to-day; I care about finding undervalued names, which are selling at very attractive valuations, with large long-term upside potential, and where I feel the potential reward amply justifies the risks. It's about maximizing Reward/Risk over the long term, not finding a top or bottom.

I sincerely believe that a few of the most important attributes for success in biotech investing are an understanding of valuation, risks, potential upside, and just as important, having patience. Small-cap bios are extremely volatile and easy to manipulate by large hedge funds. Not having a solid understanding of the thesis and a long-term perspective can be very expensive.

In short, I don't know what the market will do tomorrow. Currently, markets are highly driven by day-to-day headlines, and our current Administration is unpredictable. However, this isn't something to be too afraid of, at least from an investing point of view, if you have a solid thesis and enough patience.

I am very happy to help members with any questions about valuation, long-term potential, or risks. Patience and market timing, unfortunately, I can't help with. I try to encapsulate my view of each BiQAP stocks in the BiQAP spreadsheet (link below). That's a good starting point, but please feel free to reach out to me in chat or via email if you have any questions about a particular name that interests you.

Please refer to the BiQAP Live spreadsheet on the Active Portfolio page for additional information.
